What Does Being Powerful Mean to You?
As women, we learn all sorts of false ideas about what it means to be a powerful woman.
Finding a man
Not needing a man
Having a perfect body
Having a successful career
Being a boss bitch who makes her own money
Being independent
Being strong
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with any of these qualities or desires—but it’s not what makes us powerful.
Our power doesn’t come from a man, and it also doesn’t come from parading around that we’ve been single for x years because we don’t need a man.
Our power doesn’t come from the way we look, how successful we are, or how much money we make.
It doesn’t come from anything outside of ourselves, but we’ve been programmed to put it there and when we do—that power can be stripped away at any point in time.
It’s all part of the sick conditioning that keeps us at war with ourselves, and prevents us from discovering & embracing our true power.
And that true power…it comes from within.
Our power and worth is innate—and a powerful woman is a woman who stands fiercely in that truth.
She knows she doesn’t have to do anything, prove anything, impress anyone, or be anyone in order to be powerful. She can just be, and bask in the knowing that her power comes from her divine existence.
And no one can take that from her.
