From Salads to Sensuality: Embracing Pleasure
What is the sexiest decision you’ve made recently? I’m talking a choice that made your hair stand on end. Where every time you thought back on it your face betrayed you, curling into a full face smirk.
I’m willing to bet that hitting your macro goals doesn’t have that effect. And I have eaten some good ass salads in my day but none that made me walk around differently.
Can you imagine what it would have been like if we were taught to seek our own pleasure with the kind of curiosity, perseverance and dedication our indoctrination applied toward having a body that appeases others. Teaching us to see ourselves as something that is consumed and not a never ending litany of possibilities.
From the outside it may seem like the work I do with my clients is about doing that same old shit. Like eating salads and making it to the gym with some language about self care thrown in to make it relevant. But in no uncertain terms, the work the women I work with end up doing is much deeper, much richer and honestly sexier than that.
It’s about returning to our possibilities. To our bodies, our sense of self and our lives. It’s about wondering what we actually desire, getting curious about what a move toward our own fire might feel like. It’s rediscovering ourselves outside of measurements and our mother’s pain.
Have you ever seen a woman so strikingly self assured, asking for what she wants? Emphatic, clear and confident it will be hers? That’s the kind of outcome we see in our work together.
So what’s the sexiest decision you’ve made lately?
Try this workout if you don’t have to have a lot of time to workout, despite the fitness industry demanding to get an hour in.
Full, bold embodiment is such a rare thing in a culture hell-bent on separating us from our truths.
Shifting your relationship with your body is not about what you say to yourself when you look in the mirror– it’s about all the ways you show up to live your life exactly as you please.
If you are struggling with how you feel in your body and feel like everyone else has moved on– you are not at all alone.
Stretching can make me feel amazing and sometimes I go through the motions because it makes such a difference in how I feel overall.
Better sex, clearer desires, more playfulness, “feel good” exercise habits, ease in relationships to food, these are some of the outcomes people report coming out of my coaching program.
Have you ever seen a woman so strikingly self assured, she isn't afraid to ask for what she wants?
Movement gets to be uniquely yours, and when you come to work with me—we discover what that looks like for you.
