How to Honor Your Body With Nourishment

It isn’t that “you’re not trying hard enough,” it’s just that diets don’t work.

Before you tell yourself to “get your shit together,” consider this…

Is what you’re following actually something that works? And does it actually make sense for you and your life?

Diets are about radical alterations for short term gain. It may work for a period of time and by “work,” I mean you can lose weight. BUT, when you inevitably start eating more normally again because following food rules doesn’t last—you end up back at square one.

Dieting doesn’t teach you how to listen to your hunger cues, and honor your body with nourishment, care, and love. It very rarely focuses on your overall health and happiness, so it’s no wonder you’re left feeling lost and confused.

Maybe, just maybe—it isn’t you, maybe it’s the diet and you just need a different way of doing things that actually works and works for YOU.
