You're Being Challenged Right Now.

We are creatures of comfort. We love security, certainty, safety—to be able to control and predict the outcome.

And right now, our world is changing all around us and unfolding in unpredictable ways.

You sit motionless, troubled by this tragedy, consumed with anxiety, worry, trepidation. Everything you once knew has shattered. Your life has completely morphed in front of your eyes. You have no idea what’s to come, no control over the outcome.

You are forced into unfamiliar places, uncertain times, and facing all the discomfort that has raised.

You’re being challenged.

You’re confronted with demons, fears, traumas, and feelings you’ve habitually turned from—all at once, and it all feels like too much.

And maybe it is. Maybe it’s far too much. But maybe, you’re also capable enough, resourceful enough, resilient enough, strong enough, wise enough to handle it.

The uncomfortable is just that—uncomfortable. You can sit here. You will be okay, even when it doesn’t feel that way.

Right now, as you sit in the discomfort, I encourage you to open your heart, breathe into all the tight spaces, and trust in what’s to come.

Right now, as you desperately desire control—remember you do have control over how you respond and react. You do have a choice to see opportunity and growth here.

Right now, as you struggle, know that you are not alone in this struggle. We’re here, in this, together and we will come out together. We’ve got this. I have trust in you, in me, in us.

Comment below and share an opportunity this situation has given you ⚡️ For me, it’s forced me to slow down.
