The Trick to Make Exercise a Habit
The reason you fail to make exercise a habit is the limited perspective you have on it.
You’re doing it out of desire to make body alterations or in the pursuit of health. And of course, nothing’s wrong with that, but there’s so much more to it.
When you approach fitness in a way that also invites in enjoyment, empowerment, and excitement—it’s easier to stay consistent. You begin to associate movement with pleasure, and then you’re more inclined to do it because you remove the chore-like feeling.
I’m going to offer the same encouragement to you that I offer my clients: find something fun, and run with that. If you get jaded by it, do something else.
Fitness isn’t confined to the gym, baby girl. Explore the myriad of ways you can move and connect to your body, and adjust when needed.
