Receiving Judgement from Friends and Family

Hey, you. If you received any judgment, criticism, or nasty remarks from family this holiday, I want you to remember something...

It’s not about you.

Whatever they did, whatever they said, it’s about them. It’s a direct reflection of their ideas, beliefs, insecurities, traumas, life experiences, all riddled with their current mood and they projected that shit onto you.

Your way of being reflects something back to them, something they either don’t like in themselves. Or maybe, their just jealous. Or uncomfortable. Or it challenges their beliefs, which usually tied to their ego.

Don’t let their ugly projections change the way you feel about you.

You’re fucking great.
You’re fucking awesome.
You’re fucking wonderful.
Keep doing your thing, honey. ✌️
